Speech tip: There is no “express” in “espresso”

Specialty coffee drinks are now popular all over the world.  We might as well pronounce their names correctly!

Here is a pronunciation tip for every coffee-loving speaker of English.  Espresso is not spelled with the letter x.  Nor should the first two syllables sound like the English word express.  The name for this particular drink comes from Italian.
